In our function as national employers’ association, the primary representation of interests for our members lies in all operational concerns such as wages, social policies and industrial law. Not least due to our members‘ continuous commitment and team spririt, we hold a strong public position to help us support and promote our interests and those of our members.

But even companies closely connected to the glass and solar industry, which include glass in their production or associated organisations such as guilds, company health insurers, technical institutions or vocational colleges for glass can all become a BAGV GLAS+SOLAR member.

Unlike other big industry sectors (for instance the chemicals, metal or eletrical industry) there is no standard blanket rate in the glass industry that applies automatically to newly joining companies.This unique and multi-faceted range of rates enables BAGV GLAS+SOLAR to agree individually tailored solutions for new members.
